International Buddhist Temple

International Buddhist Temple is at 9160 Steveston Hwy. This working temple offers visitors tranquility through its classical Chinese garden, ponds, small waterfalls and gazebos. A courtyard features bonsai plants and a striking ceramic mural. The temple houses Chinese artifacts that reveal the artisans' skill in sculpture, painting, carpentry and embroidery. Also on site is the Seven Buddha Mural; at 22 metres (73 ft.) long it is said to be the only Buddhist mural of this size in the world.
