Radium Hot Springs

Radium Hot Springs is just n. of the w. entrance to Kootenay National Park. Water temperatures range from 37 to 40 C (98 to 104 F). There is a hot pool, a cool pool and a 372-square-metre (4,000-sq.-ft.) day spa. Iron oxide also colors the towering sandstone cliffs, giving a perpetual sunset quality.
