Kamloops Museum and Archives is at 207 Seymour St. Permanent history galleries portray the area's past through displays of indigenous culture, fly-fishing, a reconstructed Hudson's Bay Co. fur-trading cabin, pioneer and Victorian artifacts and tableaux, transportation items, natural history specimens and changing temporary exhibits. A children’s museum and rocks and minerals geology gallery are available. The archives has collections of photographs and manuscripts.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
