Terrific views of the river are afforded from the casually upscale café that's a winner of many local best-of awards for its fresh, well-prepared cuisine and personable service. Specialties include grill salmon, duck, and pork tenderloin with whole-grain mustard sauce. The salads can be a meal in themselves, with options like filet mignon tossed with artichoke hearts, and shrimp and crab meat mixed with asparagus. Lunch, served weekdays, features some creative sandwiches, like the non-traditional grilled cheese that's stuffed with shrimp and bacon. Desserts are made in-house, and include chocolate créme brûlée and cheesecake in various flavors.
