Hinderliter Grog Shop

Hinderliter Grog Shop is on the grounds of Historic Arkansas Museum at 200 E. 3rd St. Built of logs in the late 1820s, the shop was an important social institution—the settlement tavern where men gathered to talk, drink and gamble. Jesse Hinderliter and his family lived upstairs until 1834 in this, the oldest house in Little Rock.
