Bearizona

Bearizona, off I-40 exit 165 at 1500 E. SR 66, is a drive-through wildlife park set in a 160-acre forest. During the 3-mile drive you'll see bison, black bears, deer, elk, American burros, bighorn sheep, Rocky Mountain goats, wolves and other animals in natural habitats. Afterward you can park your car and walk through Fort Bearizona, an area that's home to young foxes, black bear cubs, bobcats and javelinas. The Wild Ride is a guided bus tour through the park. A birds of prey show is presented several times daily.

Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
