Grand Canyon Caverns

Grand Canyon Caverns, 12 mi. e. of Peach Springs at SR 66 Milepost 115, is reached by a 21-story elevator descent during the 45-minute standard tour or the 2- to 2.5-hour Explorers tour. The new 2.5-hour Wild tour takes visitors even farther. The temperature is 56 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year. Nearly a mile of lighted trails highlights colorful mineral formations. An abbreviated tour is available for the physically impaired and visitors with limited time. A Ghost Walk is held daily after dark; payment must be made before 4 p.m.

Note: Children under 8 are not permitted on the Wild Tour.
