John Wesley Powell Memorial Museum and Visitor Information Center, Lake Powell Blvd. and N. Navajo Dr., contains exhibits relating to area development, Native American culture, geology, paleontology, the Colorado River and John Wesley Powell, the river's first modern scientist-explorer. The museum staff can book Lake Powell, Colorado River and scenic air tours.
