Coronado Cave

Coronado Cave is accessible via a steep half-mile trail w. of the visitor center. The cave, which remains in its natural state with no lighting or guardrails, features two chambers connected by a narrow passageway. Several short tunnels branch from the main cavern and require some crawling.

Note: Visitors must be equipped with one flashlight per person. Comfortable walking shoes, water, a backup light source, extra batteries and a whistle also are recommended.
