Heritage Village

Heritage Village is at 1 Tolen Dr. Located on the banks of the Hangingstone River, this educational site re-creates the city's past through a collection of 17 restored log cabins and other historic buildings dating from about 1911 to the late 1940s. A museum highlights the history of boat building, aviation, river travel, lumbering, fishing, mining, salt production and fur trading. Among the relics are a 1970 ladder fire truck, a steam tractor and a bucket-wheel excavator.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
