Prince's Island Park

Prince's Island Park is in the middle of the Bow River and reached on foot via the Bow River Pathway; parking lots are available near the Eau Claire Market (Barclay Parade S.W. & 2 St. S.W.). An urban oasis just steps from downtown, Prince's Island Park is a popular gathering place for Calgarians and tourists alike and is the site of many festivals. Crisscrossed by the Bow River Pathway system, the park features sculptures, benches, a large playground near the center of the island and an educational pathway through wetlands and native plants on the east end.
