Alaska Public Lands Information Center

Alaska Public Lands Information Center, 605 W. Fourth Ave., offers information about Alaska's state and federal public lands, including forests, parks and refuges. Exhibits include displays about Alaska's native culture, history and wildlife; films and interpretive programs are offered during the summer season. Visitors can plan their own trips with assistance from the staff as well as obtain free brochures and maps. State and federal passes also are available.
