Montgomery Zoo

Montgomery Zoo, 2301 Coliseum Pkwy., contains approximately 900 birds, mammals and reptiles from around the world, including rare and endangered species. The animals are grouped geographically in outdoor, barrier-free settings. Visitors can feed birds, river otters and fish as well as giraffes. The Skylift ride is an additional attraction. Zoo Weekend, held in late March or early April, features stage shows, camel and pony rides, and activities for all.
