Phoenix Fire Museum

Phoenix Fire Museum, 203 S. Claiborne St., is in the restored home of the Phoenix Volunteer Fire Company No. 6. This building houses turn-of-the-20th-century horse-drawn steam engines and early motorized vehicles. The upstairs gallery recounts the history of the volunteer fire companies of Mobile from their organization in 1819.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 30 minutes minimum.
