Mobile Botanical Gardens

Mobile Botanical Gardens is off I-65 exit 5A, 1.5 mi. w. on Springhill Ave., just s. on Pfc. John New St., then .6 mi. w. to 5151 Museum Dr. next to Langan Park. This 100-acre site contains gardens in a woodland setting: The Herb Garden, The Founders Fragrance & Texture Garden, The Rhododendron Garden, The John Allen Smith Japanese Maple Garden, the 35-acre Longleaf Pine Forest with hiking trails and The Kosaku Sawada Winter Garden.

Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
