U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum

U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum is at 2060A Airport Rd. Visitors may see some 30 military vehicles from 20th-century wars as well as modern vehicles, including one of the oldest surviving military jeeps. Other highlights include Alabama's Merci Boxcar, one of 49 boxcars presented by France in 1950, along with an M42 Duster, a World War II M36 Tank Destroyer and Harley and Indian motorcycles. Artifacts from as far back as the Revolutionary War are on display.
