EarlyWorks Children's Museum

EarlyWorks Children's Museum is downtown at 404 Madison St. A film, narrated by native Alabamian Bo Jackson, serves as an introduction to this interactive museum. Visitors learn about the people, agriculture, mining, politics and history of the South. Children can hear stories from a talking tree, try on 19th-century clothing, explore a 46-foot keel boat and turn the handle on a cotton gin to separate seeds from the bolls.
