AAA Editor Notes
Shorter Mansion, on US 431 at 340 N. Eufaula Ave., is an outstanding example of neoclassic architecture. Built in 1884 by wealthy cotton planter Eli Sims Shorter II, the mansion was enlarged and completed in 1906. The restored house is furnished with antiques.
