Birmingham Museum of Art, 2000 Rev. Abraham Woods Jr. Blvd., features a permanent collection of more than 27,000 paintings, sculptures, drawings and decorative arts representing a rich panorama of cultures dating from ancient to modern times, including African, American, Asian, European, Native American and Pre-Columbian art. Highlights include Renaissance paintings, 18th-century French furniture and English ceramics, featuring one of the largest Wedgwood collections in the world. The museum is home to one of the finest Asian art collections in the Southeast.
