Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame

Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame is at 1631 4th Ave. N. at jct. 17th St. The museum, in the 1935 Carver Theatre for the Performing Arts, spotlights jazz greats who have links to Alabama. Photographs, instruments, costumes and other artifacts belonging to such legends as Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Ella Fitzgerald and Lionel Hampton are exhibited. Jazz performances and theatrical productions are presented.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
