Bellapart Museum (Museo Bellapart)

Bellapart Museum (Museo Bellapart) is on the fifth floor of the Honda Building at Ave. John F. Kennedy & Dr. Luis Lembert Peguero. This small private collection traces the evolution of more than 100 years of Dominican fine art. Divided into five sections corresponding to important artistic trends, the museum features paintings, sculptures and designs by native Dominicans as well as expatriates from abroad who were influenced by their years in the Dominican Republic. Artists represented include Jaime Colson, Josep Gausachs, Celeste Woss y Gil, Clara Ledesma, Yoryi Morel, Ramón Oviedo, Manolo Pascual, Darío Suro, Antonio Prats Ventós and José Vela Zanetti.
