The Fortress (La Fortaleza)

The Fortress (La Fortaleza) is at the foot of Calle Fortaleza. The oldest executive mansion in the Western Hemisphere still in use, the Palacio de Santa Catalina has been the residence of more than 150 governors and the seat of Puerto Rico's government for more than 4 centuries.

Tours through the gardens are offered; proper attire is required.
