Museum and Cultural Center Casa del Rey (Museo y Centro Cultural Casa del Rey)

Museum and Cultural Center Casa del Rey (Museo y Centro Cultural Casa del Rey) is at Calle Mendez Vigo 292 next to city hall. Once a garrison for Spanish military personnel and later the home of writer Manuel Alonso y Pacheco, this 1823 inn has been restored by the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture. Exhibits chronicle the island's Taíno culture and its Spanish colonization.
