Alexander Hamilton Museum

Alexander Hamilton Museum is .2 mi. (.3 km) n. on Low St. Housed in a reconstruction of Alexander Hamilton's birthplace, the museum features a series of small exhibits related to both Hamilton and the history of Nevis. Of interest is a bronze plaque commemorating the visit made by a group of 144 Englishmen in 1607 who landed on the island, spent 6 days and went on to found Jamestown, Virginia, the first permanent English settlement.
