Kingsbury Grade climbs over the 7,334-foot Daggett Pass, offering remarkable panoramas of the Sierra Nevada mountains, the distant Lake Tahoe and the wooded slopes of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. The forest encompasses a wide array of wildlife including deer, bobcat, and mountain lion as well as grouse, mountain quail and red-tailed hawks.
