Running from north to south through the center of Vermont, the Scenic Route 100 Byway travels almost the entire length of the state. SR 100 runs along the eastern border of the Green Mountain National Forest and some of Vermont’s best ski resorts. Enjoy the rural feel of this road, especially during the fall foliage season.

The Scenic Route 100 Byway (SR 100) travels almost the entire length of Vermont, running from north to south through the center of the state. Also known as “Skiers Highway,” and set alongside the Green Mountain National Forest, skiing opportunities abound along this corridor. During the autumn foliage season the scenery is especially breathtaking.
