Running from north to south through the center of Vermont, the Scenic Route 100 Byway travels almost the entire length of the state. The Scenic Route 100 Byway (SR 100) travels almost the entire length of Vermont, running from north to south through the center of the state. Also known as “Skiers Highway,” and set alongside the Green Mountain National Forest, skiing opportunities abound along this corridor. During the autumn foliage season the scenery is especially breathtaking.
