Seward Highway takes you on a narrow mountain passage through densely wooded slopes crowned with snow-capped granite peaks. Deep-sapphire distant mountains, aqua rivers and silvery-blue Resurrection Bay comprise the Kenai Peninsula's lovely blue landscape palette. SR 9 ends in picturesque Seward where an ice-free harbor is an ideal departure point for coastal tours.
