Helping people is something Kevin's family has done for years – through his own towing company rescuing stranded drivers and his work with this local community. So it was no surprise to Kevin when one of his drivers, Scott, went above and beyond when he witnessed a horrific accident. Scott was driving on a local highway when a SUV towing a camper over-corrected and began to roll. Watching this unfold right before his eyes, Scott knew he needed to help. He pulled over and noticed that as the SUV came to a stop, smoke began to fill the inside cabin. He ran to the vehicle, broke the windshield and helped pull the passengers and their two dogs to safety.
Kevin was proud of Scott and his heroic effort that day and puts it simply, "I am humbled to have the chance to help people every day."
Scott was a Real Hero of the Road to this couple in a terrifying situation that could have turned out so differently. When you're driving along the highway and you see Scott, a tow provider like him, or other first responders working, think of this story and what his bravery meant to that couple.
