Yukon Wildlife Preserve

Yukon Wildlife Preserve is 40 km (25 mi.) n. on Takhini Hot Springs Rd. Guided 1.5-hour interpretive tours depart by mini-bus from the log reception cabin every two hours. The more than 283-hectare (700-acre) site is home to 11 major species of Northern mammals, including Arctic fox, red fox, snowshoe hare, mule deer, bison, Canada lynx, elk, moose, mountain goat, musk ox, stone sheep and caribou.
