Forest Learning Center at Mount St. Helens

Forest Learning Center at Mount St. Helens is off I-5 exit 49, then 33 mi. e. on SR 504 (Spirit Lake Memorial Hwy.) to 17000 Spirit Lake Memorial Hwy. The center offers displays highlighting the eruption of Mount St. Helens and the recovery and reforestation efforts currently under way. Visitors can sit inside the cockpit of a helicopter and take a video tour of Mount St. Helens. Many hands-on displays also are featured, and viewing platforms offer a panorama of the mountain.
