Log House Museum is at 3003 61st Ave. S.W. The museum is in a renovated turn-of-the-20th-century log building at Alki Point, known as the “birthplace of Seattle.” Operated by the Southwest Seattle Historical Society, the museum chronicles the history of the area and features changing exhibits. Of interest is the admiral totem pole.
