Busch Gardens Williamsburg is at 1 Busch Gardens Blvd. This 100-acre adventure park features thrill rides, animal attractions and shows, and shops and eateries set amid various European-themed villages. Sesame Street Forest of Fun is a family-friendly area offering children's rides and playgrounds as well as meet and greets with Sesame Street characters.
The Tempesto roller coaster races into turns at 63 mph and rolls through a complete inversion 154 feet in the air. InvadR, a Viking-themed wood roller coaster, reaches speeds of 48 mph and features a 74-foot plunge. On Verbolten, visitors zip along a German autobahn and then veer into the Black Forest. Griffon thrills riders with two Immelmann loops, dramatic drops and speeds of up to 75 mph as it climbs 205 feet, then dives 90 degrees straight down. The hypercoaster Apollo's Chariot takes riders over nine camelback humps, while the inverted steel coaster Alpengeist propels riders on a dynamic, high-speed journey. The Loch Ness Monster, named after Scotland's serpent, hurls passengers through interlocking loops.
Seasonal events include the Busch Gardens Food & Wine Festival in the spring, Howl-O-Scream in the fall and Christmas Town: A Busch Gardens Celebration in the winter.
