Norfolk Botanical Garden

Norfolk Botanical Garden is next to Norfolk International Airport at 6700 Azalea Garden Rd. The 175-acre garden includes one of the largest collections of azaleas, camellias, rhododendrons and roses on the East Coast and features more than 60 themed gardens and natural areas. The climate-controlled Tropical Pavilion houses over 100 varieties of plants from tropical regions around the world. Visitors may tour the gardens by foot on more than 12 miles of pathways; guided tours are offered aboard trams. A 45-minute narrated boat tour and a 3-acre interactive children's garden with water features also are available.
