AAA Editor Notes
Visitor Centers are located in the n.w. and s.e. corners of Temple Square. The starry dome of the North Visitor Center is highlighted by an 11-foot-tall statue of Jesus Christ. Exhibits include Old and New Testament murals, a scale model of Jerusalem as it likely appeared during Jesus' lifetime and examples of the church's humanitarian efforts. Three films are shown on a daily basis.
The South Visitor Center features exhibits and artifacts about the construction of the temple and the importance the religion places on family.
Guided tours are available.
