AAA Editor Notes
Beaver Courthouse Museum is at 90 E. Center St. The courthouse, destroyed by fire in 1882, was rebuilt and used through 1975. Now strictly a museum, it contains the U.S. flag that flew on the USS Utah, which sank during the attack on Pearl Harbor. Also displayed are re-created judges' chambers, court recorder's and sheriff's offices, and several 19th-century items. The jail in the basement was used through 1976.
