Whirlpool Aero Car

Whirlpool Aero Car, on the Niagara Pkwy. 3.25 km (2 mi.) n. of Horseshoe Falls, is a cable car carrying passengers 76.2 metres (250 ft.) above the Niagara Gorge and back on a 529-metre-long (1,736-ft.) cableway, affording views of the rapids and nearby hydroelectric plants. Below the suspended aero car the churning river backs up into the 24-hectare (60-acre) Whirlpool Basin.
