Sherbrooke Village is on Hwy. 7 (Nova Scotia's Marine Drive). Costumed interpreters demonstrate skills, crafts and household chores at this restoration of an 1860s lumbering and mining town. The McDonald Brothers' Sawmill operates daily, and Step Inot 1867, a hands-on history program is available daily. Other highlights include horse-drawn wagon rides, family and costumed activities and weekly concerts.
There are 25 buildings with costumed interpreters, including a blacksmith shop, general store, tearoom, craft workshops, boat-building shop and ambrotype photography studio.
