Museum of the Alphabet is 5 mi. s. of SR 75, following signs to 6409 Davis Rd. The museum is dedicated to the study of written language from ancient times to the present. Included are 12 rooms of exhibits about languages from around the globe, from Armenian and Brahmi to Cyrillic and Visigoth. Notations of music, Braille and sign language also are included.
Among other exhibits, visitors can view a replica of the Rosetta Stone and a working model of Gutenberg's press.
