Wave Hill

Wave Hill is off the Henry Hudson Pkwy. at W. 249 St. and Independence Ave. The house was built in 1843; it features a 28-acre garden and cultural center overlooking the Hudson River. Glyndor Gallery presents changing art exhibitions inspired by nature. Guided walks among the herb, wildflower and aquatic gardens are offered; special events are held throughout the year.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
