I really like this small property for family activities, as it is close to New York City and feels almost like a private community.

This small mini-resort has spacious rooms and is just rustic enough to be relaxed and homey. The nearby family-friendly activities include skiing, a seasonal water park and excellent mountain biking. The year-round outdoor pool is kept at 88 degrees. The unspoiled nature of the Appalachian Trail is part of the immediate surroundings and not what one might expect in New Jersey.
