Patton Museum, 4554 Fayette Ave., is named for World War II general George S. Patton. Exhibits at the museum tell the story of General Patton and his career in the U.S. Army.
Armor Unit Memorial Park, adjacent to the Patton Museum, pays tribute to the units that served and protected the United States in 20th century wars.
Note: To access the museum, visitors with no military ID card or installation entry pass must go to the Fort Knox Visitor Center, located on E. Bullion Boulevard just before the Chaffee (main) Gate, and present a valid driver's license to obtain an Automated Installation Entry pass. If your driver's license is from the states of Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, New Mexico or Washington, please bring an additional form of ID.
Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
