Quad City Botanical Center

Quad City Botanical Center is at 2525 4th Ave. The focal point of the center is a 70-foot-tall conservatory with more than 100 tropical plants and trees, a 14-foot-tall waterfall and reflecting pools stocked with Japanese koi and water plants. Meandering pathways lead through the outdoor gardens, where plantings change with the seasons. Featured are perennials, annuals, and collections of iris, daylilies and evergreens. The children's garden includes a human sundial, a water play feature and a mini-Mississippi River and Delta. A seasonal garden train railway, an alphabet garden and a secret garden also are on the grounds.
