Tampa Bay Automobile Museum

Tampa Bay Automobile Museum is at 3301 Gateway Centre Blvd. Vintage vehicles are displayed within a 16,000-square-foot gallery. Noteworthy exhibits include front-wheel-drive and rear-engine cars from the 1920s and '30s, which spearheaded engineering standards for the present-day automobile. Motorcars from Czechoslovakia, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy and United States of America are featured. A sole replica of the world's first self-propelled vehicle, the 1770 Fardier de Cugnot, also is showcased.
