The Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District

The Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District, 1 mi. long from S.W. 7th Ave. to US 1, is a meandering promenade through lush tropical landscaping along the New River. The walkway links attractions, arts and cultural institutions, historical points of interest, restaurants and shops. Riverboat cruises and water taxis are available. Esplanade Park features an interactive scientific display that contains a human sundial and “whisper dishes”—satellite-like dishes that amplify whispered messages from 25 feet away.
