Skyline Drive

Skyline Drive, starting 3 mi. w. off US 50, is a 3-mile, paved, one-way road that traverses the crest of a “hogback” ridge 800 feet above town. The view from Skyline Drive is spectacular and includes actual dinosaur tracks in the rocks.

Note: Motor homes, vans, campers and vehicles towing trailers are not permitted on the narrow, steep and winding road.
