Faraway Ranch

Faraway Ranch, 1.5 mi. w. of the monument visitor center, is the homestead of pioneers Neil and Emma Erickson. The home was built in 1888 and additions were made through 1915. By the 1920s the Ericksons' daughter Lillian and her husband had turned the homestead into a working cattle and guest ranch.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
