Grande Prairie Museum

Grande Prairie Museum is at 102 St. and 102 Ave. in Muskoseepi Park. The museum’s galleries highlight the first aboriginal people to settle this area, the first homesteaders and those who contributed to the Peace Region’s development. The adjoining Heritage Village consists of 14 historical buildings from the area, including a one-room schoolhouse, a country store, a church and a homesteader's log cabin, the earliest structure dating back to 1896.
