Denali Backcountry Adventure

Denali Backcountry Adventure departs from Denali Cabins, Milepost 229, George Parks Hwy. (SR 3), 9 mi. s. of park entrance or from the Alaska Railroad Depot. This narrated bus tour travels along the 95-mile Denali Park Road to Denali Backcountry Lodge in Kantishna. Along the route, the guide points out wildlife such as moose and caribou, and makes stops at various times for photography. The complete trip lasts 13 hours and includes either gold panning or a guided nature walk to Fannie Quigley's historic pioneer cabin. Lunch and snacks are provided.
