Regional Historical Museum

Regional Historical Museum (Museo Histórico Regional) is on Calle Gastélum, a blk. s. of Calle Ambar and 2 blks. w. of Av. Riveroll. The oldest public building in the state of Baja California, it was built in 1886 and served as an army barracks during its early years. It also was a prison, and the cellblocks and guard towers remain. Exhibits focus on city history.
